Blake's Tyger embodies both the qualities I wanted to portray: majestic and irresistibly attractive on the one hand and outrageous and terrifying on the other.
The “fearful symmetry”-figure ascribed to the panther aptly represents this opposition of beautiful perfection and horror.
The fragrance is built around an accord of psychedelic white flowers with sweet facets, which also includes an essence of tuberose – like the prima donna, the protagonist of a dramatic piece, it is the best example of the refined civilization of a bygone world; In contrast, the base notes present a different type of wood, with some burnt and leathery qualities, alluding to a post-apocalyptic scenario of destruction, mystery and darkness.
The result of these parts - which wouldn't work individually - is a sparkling, sparkling fragrance that gives me an exciting feeling of very dramatic sophistication - the kind of contradictory feelings that anything attractive arouses in me.
